Transport more mobile

Hartford is a densely populated city with bus, rail, bike, and walking infrastructure.  As we look to our 400th anniversary, we need to accelerate efforts to reduce dependence on cars.  Doing so will help reduce greenhouse gases and asthma rates and make our city healthier.  Emphasizing walking, biking, and public transit will also make our transportation network more affordable and more resilient.

As Hartford approaches its 400th anniversary, how do you think we can re-envision the transportation system to connect people to the region?

Please submit your ideas involving any of these areas: airports (Bradley & Brainard), biking, buses, highways, local streets, rail lines (Amtrak or CT Rail), and walking.
